This is a ceramic cup that has a face sculpted onto it. Many different sculpting techniques went into making this mug, such as scoring and cutting. The mug was pretty well planned out, and I made many sketches to map out exactly where I would score and where each of the features would go.

This is a ceramic container made to look like a sea monster. When I made this, I had to plan where the tentacles would go and how they would remain structurally sound on the piece. The sketches for this piece were mostly just me arranging and rearranging the tentacles as I had a good idea of what I wanted from it.
