Santa Barbara Botanic Garden Identity
I chose the Pheonix motif in reference to the garden’s history of being engulfed in a massive fire but still recovering and revitalizing all it’s plants from their burnt husks. The sapling in the center being ‘embraced’ by the bird representing, of course, the plants of the garden. This logo represents the gardens vitality and vigor int he face of challenges, while also reflecting the nature of the business.

'The Godfather' Book Cover
For a recent book cover project, I redesigned "The Godfather" by Mario Puzo, combining the essence of the original with a contemporary touch. The cover showcases a captivating red gradient background, transitioning from vibrant to dark, evoking a sense of violence and drama. The title "The Godfather" stands out in bold, white, geometric typography, drawing immediate attention. The presence of Don Vito Corleone, the powerful "Godfather," is represented by his iconic suit, bowtie, and red rosebud. The result is a modern and captivating design, inviting readers to explore this timeless novel.
